Climate Change Carnival — "Love the Earth"

About This Project

On April 19, 2025, the Office held Osun's first statewide climate carnival at Freedom Park, Osogbo, themed "Love the Earth." The event brought together youth participants including schools, women, civil society organisations, NGOs, and individuals living with disabilities. Art, music, parades, and community dialogue were used to make climate change accessible and relatable to everyday Osun residents. The carnival has been institutionalised as an annual flagship event, creating Osun's first popular movement for climate awareness.
