About This Project
The Office developed the first-ever Osun State Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment (CCVA) Guideline in 2025, localising national frameworks for risk mapping and climate response. The assessment identified high-risk areas across Osun for flooding, heat stress, drought, and food insecurity. Climate desk officers were trained and deployed across Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) for ongoing monitoring. Osun now has a baseline climate risk profile that guides disaster preparedness, project siting, and investment priorities across the state.
