About This Project
The Office has been at the forefront of national climate governance engagement. The AICIS Pre-Conference Meeting (April 28–30, 2025) was hosted in collaboration with the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation to prepare stakeholders for the National Climate Conference. Following Nigeria's first-ever Legislative Conference on Renewable Energy (organised by the House Committee on Renewable Energy and UNDP), the Office convened the Post-Legislative Conference Roundtable for South-West Nigeria (June 3–4, 2025) in Osun, localising the national outcomes for the region. At this roundtable, the Office formally launched the Osun State Climate Action Plan (CAP), the Climate-Smart Investment Portfolio, and the Draft Renewable Energy Policy Document.
